To report an absence or request a drop in or for any program specific information, call your program's phone number below and leave a detailed message with your child's complete name and date of absence or drop ins. Please note that these phones are not monitored during non-program hours. Please also notify your child's school with any daily absences and/or drop ins.

PROGRAMS & HOURS PROGRAMAS Y HORARIOS
The Before School Program begins at 7am and runs until school starts. The After School Program runs from dismissal time until 6:00pm. Program availability is based on enrollment numbers. The before and after school program are held at LaMonte School, serving students from LaMonte, LaMonte Annex, & Lafayette schools. Pick up times are flexible and you can register for a 4pm, 5pm, or 6pm pick up with variable tuition rates. You must select only one pick up time per week. You are allowed to pick up your child early, but you cannot have 2 different pick up times during the week.

EARLY DISMISSAL/EMERGENCY CLOSURE Salidas anticipadas/Cierres de emergencia
WFC operates on all scheduled early dismissal days, starting at the time of the early dismissal and ending at regular closing time. PLEASE SEND A LUNCH WITH YOUR CHILD ON THESE DAYS. On delayed school openings, WFC does not operate morning care. If there is an emergency school closure, then there will be no WFC after care and you will be notified via text message/email from us.

WHO ARE OUR STAFF? ¿QUIÉN ES NUESTRO PERSONAL?
Work Family Connection staff are highly trained professional child care staff. A great majority of our teachers hold BA degrees or are currently in school for education, social work, psychology and other related fields. All employees must undergo fingerprinting criminal background checks, physical exams, TB testing, reference checks, alien/US citizen verification, and conviction statements. Many of our staff hold a current certification in CPR and First Aid.

DROP-IN REGISTRATION REGISTRO DROP-IN
A drop-in registration allows your child to attend the Program on an occasional basis. All drop-in students must be registered, and notification must be given in advance by calling the WFC Program phone number. Drop ins are billed at a daily rate. Children registered with a regular schedule less than 5 days per week, may add and attend as a drop in.

MONTHLY TUITION MATRÍCULA MENSUAL
Tuition is due on the 20th of each month, for the following month's services.
At the time of registration, the following are due:1.The annual, non-refundable registration fee ($40/child or $60/family) - due immediately2.The security deposit equivalent to approx. one month's tuition including fees/discounts (applied to your June's - or last month's - tuition) - due immediately3.The first month's tuition - due by August 20thIf you are registering after the above listed dates, all of the above is due at time of registration.

Children who attend Lafayette School will be charged a $25/month Transportation Fee if registered for the after-school program and $40/month if registered for both the before and after school-program.

The Work-Family Connection’s teaching staff believes that the Programs should serve as the student’s "home away from home" and are places where a great deal of growth and development take place. Within structure and limits, there needs to be much freedom and many choices. We believe that the environment should be challenging, both mentally and physically, foster independence, teach life skills, and allow students to grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally.

Based on this philosophy, a flexible daily schedule is developed. We want the Program to be the children's programs and to meet each group's needs. The daily schedule is not cast in concrete, but is flexible and changes to make room for special events, themes, and projects. The schedule may change throughout the year, after observing the groups' interactions and asking students about their interests.
El personal docente de Work-Family Connection cree que los programas deben servir como el "hogar lejos del hogar" del estudiante y son lugares donde se produce un gran crecimiento y desarrollo.
